American Oystercatcher Productivity Protocol

We are excited to share with the group the streamlined and finalized American Oystercatcher productivity protocol.

Background

This effort began back in 2021, and from 2022 to 2025 has been updated based on input from our wonderful group of piloteers. In the winter of 2025/2026, the AMOY Productivity Protocol sub-committee revised the document to simplify the protocol document and implement final revisions.

Who is the Protocol For?

It’s for everyone!

For the piloteers who were using a previous version (2022-2025), please make sure you switch to using this version (1.0) moving forward. We have attached a list of updates to help people identify changes easily.

We welcome (and encourage!) anyone who would like to use this protocol at their sites. The members of the subcommittee are available to assist with implementation or to answer related questions.
